About Us
The Sharks
The Bayswater Park Cricket Club (BPCC), based at Guy Turner Reserve in Bayswater, was established in 1968, and has a long history of being an active member in the Bayswater community.
The make-up of our club draws from the greater Knox area, with the main suburbs being Bayswater, Boronia, Wantirna and Heathmont. Our club goal is to provide an environment where players, supporters and families can enjoy the physical and social aspects of a vibrant local sporting community.
BPCC prides itself on being a family friendly, inclusive club, who caters for people of all ages. Bayswater Park hosts a Woolies Blast Program, which introduces children aged four to seven to cricket before they move into our junior program which currently consists of five teams (8-18 years, including a girls program). The club also proudly fields four senior men’s teams and has had a highly successful women’s team for over 15 years.
Supporting Charities
BPCC proudly host an annual T20 Charity Match that has raised in excess of $90,000 for a range of charities, including National Breast Cancer Foundation, MS Australia, Beyond Blue, Lupus Victoria and the Leukemia Foundation.
Regular Functions
We love regularly bringing the Shark Park family together off the field, so be sure to check out our social calendar for all upcoming events this season.
Mental Health
The wellbeing of our members and supporters is paramount, resulting in BPCC putting a focus on the promotion of mental health awareness which includes the delivery of workshops relevant to the topic.

Con McLoughlin Medal
The highest honour for our club
The prestigious Con McLoughlin Medal is Bayswater Park’s Best and Fairest award, which is presented annually to one male and one female senior player. This night of nights is a highlight of our social calendar.
The award is in honour of life member, Cornelius (Con) McLoughlin who tragically, and unexpectedly passed away in 2013 whilst travelling in the USA. A fantastic volunteer, you could find Con working the bar on Saturdays at Guy Turner, reliving stories and sharing how special our club was to him. He was much loved by all and continues to be deeply missed by his Shark Park family.
We give back every year
